Here’s our promise about how this works: Commission never decides what we recommend. Our gift guides are researched and written first; affiliate links are added afterwards where a partnership exists. If the best product for a guide comes from a retailer with no affiliate programme, it goes in the guide anyway with a plain link.

We favour products we’d genuinely give — practical, lasting things from UK retailers, leaning towards organic, independent and B Corp brands.

We refresh guides periodically, and we remove or replace products that no longer deserve their place.
Affiliate income is how we keep Shuppy’s guides free to read and the wish-list app free to use.
